In my honest opinion, the "best" weapons are either Greens or Collector's weapons. There's no real "best" weapon, aside from how you use the weapon and what you need from it.
Go here -> http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Main_Page Take a look around at the Elementalist Green weapons, and the Collector's weapons, get an idea of what you want your character to do, then pick a weapon that best suits that play style. After you've selected your weapon, you could go an try to get it yourself, buy it, or whatever you think is best. There is no deffinete right answer here. |

Agreed. Different weapons are good for different builds. Depends entirely on your character set up. Ashleigh Last edited by Ashleigh McMahon; Apr 26, 2006 at 06:31 PM // 18:31.. Reason: fixed a typo |

it depends on what kind of ele you are.......wands....fire ragos is good, but I got a collectors from the desert somewhere that was almost as good, water flints is a good wand...right now its cheap too....earth and air are harder, but there are a few collectors wands that are good too (try guildwiki and look up green items---you can then look at the green item and see what non-green is closest to it and if its a collector or whathaveyou)...
hope this helps.... |

Looks like you are using fire maginc? Collector fire staff + whatever mods you desire, use guildwiki to find the staff and use whatever you have for upgrades. The collector staff has the 20/20 fast cast/recharge, which is nice.

It's only recently that I became obsessed with having perfect stuff, and before that I used a req 11 clean chaos axe on my warrior (for 7 months). Sure, my shiny Razor is nice, but its only about 130% of what my old, simple, clean weapon was.
I guess my point is that bonuses (while nice) don't really matter. |

As others have said: it's whatever matches your build the best.
The longer I play, the more weapons I tend to use on each character. My ranger now has 6 bows and 2 staffs that are constantly rotated out of my weapon slots depending on what i'm doing ... don't even get me started on my warrior with all the weapon/shield combinations In short: post your build (or general spells/skills you use) and we will try to recommend the "best" weapon |
